The PureGym Group is the UK’s #1 gym operator with over 320 gyms, and the second largest in Europe with a leading proposition in Denmark and Switzerland. In addition to the UK and Europe, we have recently launched in the Middle East and the USA, expanding our geographic reach with over 500 gyms across the Group Estate. At the end of 2021 we secured a private equity injection of £300m from new shareholders KKR, giving us significant funding to fulfil our ambitious growth plans in the UK and across the Group.

PureGym's Digital marketing team drive high volume, low cost joiner acquisition for our 320+ gyms in the UK, as well as supporting our businesses in Switzerland and USA. With close relationships with Google, Meta and other partners, we aim to leverage latest best practice to drive the best possible results, inspiring as many people as possible to live healthier lives with PureGym.

We are currently looking for a Paid Search Executive to join help support our Paid Search strategy across UK & selected international markets, maximising awareness, consideration, and new joiners within stated budgets

The Role:

  • To support Paid Search Manager on daily performance for the UK and our key International markets (CH, & US)
  • Take ownership of Presale activity from UK, CH and US
  • Perform daily account management tasks to ensure all activity is performing in accordance to modern search best practices and in line with joiner, spend and CPA targets for UK, CH and US
  • Regularly leverage data-driven insights and share with the Int. Paid Search Manager how we should implement optimizations and split investment across campaigns for the best possible results
  • Have an analytical approach to suggest improvements and testing in line with each accounts development roadmap
  • Liaising as required with UK, CH & US internal teams, on budgets, offer management & account development
  • Develop and maximise relationships with external partners and suppliers such as Google & Microsoft to ensure PureGym Group activity is following latest industry best practice
  • Working closely with the Digital Marketing Analyst to implement tracking and reporting requirements
  • Continually seek to test and learn, and engaging in various forms of iterative testing to drive performance improvements across all business units
  • Keep up-to-date with wider industry trends and developments, bringing fresh ideas and thinking to the business to develop long and short term planning
  • Any other adhoc duties

The Person:

  • Is passionate about digital marketing, keen to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Has 2+ years’ experience in paid search
  • Has account optimisation and budget management experience
  • Experience managing accounts ideally in Fitness/Health/Leisure/Retail sector(s).
  • as experience of managing through platforms such as, Google ads, Microsoft ads & SA360.
  • Has experience using Google Analytics
  • Has analytical skills, capable of manipulating datasets & problem solving.
  • Proven time management & organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Interested in sport & fitness
  • Has the ability to liaise and work closely with other departments and third-party stakeholders
  • Is commercially aware and uses knowledge and experience to drive success of PureGym
  • Is an ambassador of the PureGym values
  • Takes ownership for performance and ensures that all targets are met
  • Can effectively build strong working relationships and networks to enable success
